SERVICIOS GENERALES DE LA PLAYA Según Temporada: Invierno Verano 1 de julio a 15 de septiembre -Servicio de rescate y Primeros auxilios Lunes-domingos llevado a cabo por socorristas 11h -19h -Servicio Vigilancia Policial 24 horas 24 horas -Servicio de limpieza y criba de arena, recogida de residuos, paseo, vaciado de papeleras, Accesos a Mínimo 2 veces por Diario desde 6h playas, pasarelas y lavapiés. Semana, desde 7h -Limpieza de los WC Diario, 3 veces -Punto de Información Turística Lunes a Domingos 11h -14h y 17h -19h -Puntos accesibles Lunes-domingo 11.00-19.00 -Chiringuitos Lunes-domingo 11.00-19.00 -Cierre de la playa en caso de vertido incontrolado de aguas residuales, plaga marina u otros factores que supongan un riesgo potencial. -Señalización de zonas de uso restringido para bañistas. Señalización mediante balizamiento

de zonas permitidas para baño, zonas de baño accesible y zonas restringidas para el baño por entrada y salida de embarcaciones de recreo y salvamento marítimo.

-Transporte público: Parada de autobús y proximidad Estación de Ferrocarril (300 mts). Aparcamiento para discapacitados.

-Análisis periódico y puntual y control de calidad del agua y de la arena, así como de los elementos de la playa (pasarelas, lavapiés, etc), mensual en invierno y semanal en verano, realizadas por el Ayuntamiento y Sanidad Ambiental.

Seguridad, salvamento y prestación. Esta playa cuenta con servicio de vigilancia y salvamento. Tiene como principal objetivo garantizar la seguridad de los bañistas. Horario de Servicios (Seguridad, Salvamento, Lavapiés e Información) Verano (15 de junio a 15 de septiembre): 11.00 a 19.00 horas Banderas de señalización del estado de la mar Sillas anfibias La playa de La Colonia cuenta con un servicio de Sillas Anfibias y baño asistido. Hay dos tipos de sillas, una para discapacitados parapléjicos y otra para tetrapléjicos. RECOMENDACIONES DE PROTECCIÓN CIVIL.

¬ Obedezcan las recomendaciones de los Socorristas. ¬ Controlen el tiempo de exposición al sol. Es recomendable la utilización de filtros de

protección solar de la piel y gafas de sol. ¬ No es aconsejable mezclar alcohol y baño. ¬ Los niños deben ir acompañados de un mayor. ¬ Usen la zona de baño más próxima al puesto de vigilancia y socorro, especialmente

¬ Utilicen los lavapiés con moderación, recuerden que estamos en una zona donde el agua potable es escasa.

¬ No utilicen ningún tipo de jabón en la playa. ¬ Utilicen las papeleras y contenedores. Mantengan Limpia la Playa. ¬ Utilicen los ceniceros de playa, las colillas de los cigarrillos son muy difíciles de

recoger por las máquinas limpiaplayas y se deben quitar a mano. ¬ Respeten la Naturaleza que es de todos. ¬ Utilicen los aseos y recuerde que después de Usted serán usados por otra persona. ¬ No ocupen las pasarelas, su fin es acceder a la zona de baño. ¬ No dejen instaladas sombrillas, hamacas ni otros objetos que puedan entorpecer las

tareas de limpieza y mantenimiento de la playa. ¬ Prohibido el acceso y estancia de animales domésticos en la playa. ¬ Está prohibido hacer fuego. ¬ Están prohibidas la navegación, fondeo y amarre de embarcaciones, práctica de surf,

esquí acuático dentro de la zona balizada para uso de bañistas. ¬ Están prohibidas la navegación, fondeo y amarre de embarcaciones, práctica de surf,

esquí acuático a menos de 50 metros en playas no balizadas.

¬ Está prohibida la pesca en todas sus formas en las zonas de baño. ¬ Se recomienda ir a la playa en bicicleta y paseando, es sano y no contamina. ¬ Beba agua abundantemente para contrarrestar las pérdidas producidas por el calor.

CODIGO DE CONDUCTA EN EL MAR Los propietarios y usuarios de embarcaciones, y en general todas aquellas personas usuarias del mar, pueden colaborar con la Campaña Bandera Azul de Europa mediante el siguiente compromiso personal: 1. Comportamiento compatible y sin causar perjuicios a los demás usuarios. 2. Ayuda en la defensa de los espacios protegidos, reservas biológicas y otras áreas de especial

interés. 3. Defensa y respeto por la vida marina. No causar perturbación a las áreas de nidificación de aves. 4. Procure informarse sobre la localización de las áreas más sensibles y de los ecosistemas

protegidos, para poder respetarlos y no alterarlos. 5. Respete los fondos marinos. Aplique la reglamentación de pesca submarina. 6. Mantenga el mar y playa limpios: i. No arrojar material plástico al mar.

ii. No verter líquidos nocivos y tóxicos o cualquier otra sustancia nociva al mar. iii. No arrojar basuras de ningún tipo al mar ni a la playa. 7. Denuncie ante las autoridades competentes cualquier atentado a la legislación marina del que

tenga conocimiento. 8. Utilice productos no agresivos contra el Medio Ambiente, deposite los restos en recipientes

adecuados para este tipo de residuos. 9. Realice un esfuerzo para estimular un comportamiento imitable al suyo entre el colectivo de

usuarios del mar.

INDICADORES: Los servicios de la playa serán controlados a través de diversos indicadores: Encuestas al público, partes de incidencias, reclamaciones y quejas de los usuarios, actuaciones de la policía local y los servicios de salvamento, resultados higiénico-sanitarios de la playa, calificación de playa según bandera azul, etc.

OBJETIVOS: 1. Fomentar un uso adecuado de la playa desde el punto de vista medioambiental. 2. Renovación de infraestructuras 3. Recogida de encuestas a través de página web y dispositivos móviles códigos QR. 4. Estudio de accesibilidad en cada playa 5. Tener a disposición del usuario información de las playas actualizada en web de turismo

SERVICE PLAN FOR THE “COLONIA” BEACH

CARACTERISTICS OF THE BEACH Area: Length 600 m, width 40 m Degree of occupation: High Type of ground: Thick and yellow sand (crushed stone + sand) Description: Urban beach with a promenade Access: Principal access in Avenida Juan Carlos I. Secondary access is in Poniente Harbour and Paseo de la Constitución.

GENERAL BEACH SERVICES Wintertime Summertime -Rescue service and First Aid Monday – Sunday carried out by lifeguards 11.00-19.00 h. -Police Surveillance 24 hours 24 hours -Cleaning services and cleaning of the sand, rubbish collection, cleaning of toilets, walkways, accesses to the beach and the gangplanks, emptying of rubbish bins. Accesses and parking for disabled persons. - Periodical and punctual analysis and quality control of the water and the sand, and the other areas of the beach (gangplanks, footbaths and so on), monthly in winter and once a week in summer, carried out by the Town Hall and the Department of Public and Environmental Health. SECURITY, RESCUE AND OTHER SERVICES. This beach has security and rescue services. Their main objective is to guarantee the swimmers’ safety. Seats for the disabled on the beaches The “colonia” beach provides seats for disabled people and assisted bathing. There are two types of seat, one type is for paraplegics and the other type is for tetraplegic people. RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CIVIL PROTECTION. ¬Obey the rescuers’ recommendations. ¬Control the time you are exposed to the sun. It is advisable to use sun protection and wear sun glasses. ¬It is not advisable to mix alcohol and swimming. ¬Children should be accompanied by an adult at all times. ¬Use the swimming area next to the surveillance and aid points, especially when accompanying children. Keep the beach clean. ¬Use the ashtrays provided on the beaches because cigarette butts are very difficult to pick up by the

cleaning machines and they have to be removed by hand. ¬Respect nature: it belongs to everybody. ¬Use the toilets and remember that afterwards they will be used by another person. ¬Don't occupy the gangplanks, they are there to provide easy access to the beach.

¬Don't leave sun-shades, towels or other objects that can hinder the cleaning and maintenance of the beach.

¬Domestic animals are forbidden on the beach. ¬It is forbidden to make bonfires. ¬Inside the area buoyed for swimmers' use it is forbidden to sail, drop anchor, tie up boats, surf or jet-ski. ¬On any beaches that do not have buoys it is forbidden to sail, drop anchor, tie up boats, surf or jet-ski

in the area 50 meters from the beach. ¬Fishing is forbidden in all forms in the bathing areas. ¬It is recommended to walk to the beach or go by bicycle. This is healthy and it doesn't pollute the

environment. ¬Drink plenty of water to counteract the effects of dehydration caused by the heat. BEHAVIOUR CODE ON THE SEA All boat owners and users, and in general anyone who uses the sea, can collaborate with the European Blue Flag Campaign by following the personal commitment: 1. Responsible behaviour at all times, without causing injury to other users. 2. Help in the protection of protected spaces, natural reserves and other areas of special interest. 3. Care and respect for the marine life. Do not cause any interference to the areas where birds have

their nests. 4. Try to be informed about the most sensitive areas and of their protected ecosystems in order to

respect them and not to interfere with them. 5 Respect the marine life. Apply the regulations of submariner fishing. 6. Maintain clean the sea and beaches: I. Do not throw plastic material into the sea.

II. Do not pour noxious, toxic liquids or any other noxious substance into the sea. III. Do not throw rubbish of any type into the sea or on the beaches. 7. Report to the relevant authorities any violation of the marine legislation of which you have knowledge. 8. Use environmentally friendly products. Deposit any remains in the appropriate containers for the type of residuals. 9. Act in a way which will be expected among the sea using community. INDICATORS: The beach services will be controlled by various indicators: Public surveys, incident reports, protests and users’ complaints, reports from the local police and the rescue services, hygenic-sanitary results of the beach, beach qualification according to the Blue Flag and so on.
