brochure homesession 2012
DESCRIPTION
Since 2007 Homesession has been catalyzing creation in the field of visual arts: its support to artists consists of an international artists’ residency programme and grants for the production of projects which are dedicated to Spanish artists. With its continued effort to support artists and promote art, Homesession welcomes proposals that utilise diverse media and practices, with a strong focus on interdisciplinary experimentation. This work is being done in an atypical space in Poble Sec in Barcelona, a former shop that has been converted into a loft, to which a new location will be added in 2012. Homesession intends to complement the work of the institutions in Barcelona’s art scene: it gives a home to proposals that are daring and innovative as much in their contents as in their format and aesthetics, making room for the unexpected. Special thanks to Javi Moreno, Julien Gardair, Mariokissme, Carolina Cordeiro, Joao Torres.TRANSCRIPT
