The basis for any success is product excellence. Kaldewei has continually created product milestones and revolutionized the market. In 1934 we introduced the first freestanding bath in Germany. In 1957 the first “seamless” baths made from a single sheet of steel were launched. With this technology Kaldewei became the market leader in Germany. Previous to this cast iron had been dominant. In 1989 Kaldewei introduced TURBO WHIRL, the first “pipe-free” Whirlsystem. In 2009 CONOFLAT celebrated a premiere as the world’s first absolutely floor-level shower tray with an enamelled waste cover. The company was named “Brand of the Century” in Germany in 2010, honouring almost a century of pioneering achievements.

The Kaldewei Relax Lounger instantly turns a designer bath into a small wellness oasis. Relaxing on the fine fabric, you’ll feel as if you’re lying on the deck of an elegant yacht. Kaldewei’s anti-slip enamelling is made of a mixture of quartz and sand, and is burned permanently onto the surface of the Kaldewei steel enamel 3.5 mm. Its textured surface provides additional safety when bathing or showering. The anti-slip coating holds up to years of wear. As an alter-native, full anti-slip enamelling over a larger surface area is also available for almost all baths and shower trays. TÜV Rheinland has certified anti-slip and full anti-slip from Kaldewei as slip-resistant in accordance with ratings group B for wet barefoot areas (DIN 51097).

Exclusive design and anti-slip in one are offered by the anti-slip decoration for SUPERPLAN shower trays. The delicate pattern of this ornament adds a new luxury to the bathroom as well as providing additional safety with aesthetic appeal. The anti-slip decoration is available for all SUPERPLAN shower trays up to 120 x 120 cm.
