14th Annual West Coast Walk for Life Join other parishioners for the 14th Annual West Coast Walk For Life in san Francisco on Saturday 27th. This will include the bus to and fro, The Mass for Life at 9:30 at St Mary’s Cathedral and the Walk to follow. Bus sign ins will be at 6:30 Am at Sa-cred Heart Church, the bus returns at 6:30 Pm. Those a end-ing must bring a cell phone, a backpack, water, a packed lunch and a raincoat/umbrella if rain is forecast. A Rosary is suggested in keeping with the prayerful meaning of the Walk. Confima on students and their parents travel free, all others are asked to contribute $10 per youth/child and $30 per adult. Those interested should contact Elena Olsvold at 636-0175 as soon as possible to secure a seat. Love Ministry—Partners in Healing Illness and aging is a fact of life. Illness and aging are both spiritual challenges and spiritual journeys. Ministry to the sick and homebound is essen ally a ministry of presence, of ac ve listening. We are blessed at Sacred Heart/St. Benedict’s to have faith-filled volunteers who bring Holy Communion to the sick and homebound of our Parish, making them feel a part of our worshipping community.
