Para obtener dicha clave de migración, se deberá abrir un ‘customer message’ y informar a SAP de los planes de migración que se esten llevando a cabo de acuerdo a la notaSAP 854791

SAP EP NW04 sobre WAS 6.40 Que Stacks del WAS requiere?
En la actualidad SAP Web AS 6.40 dispone de dos stacks ( ABAP y JAVA) sobre los cuales funcionan y operan cada una de lassoluciones de SAP NW04.
Por lo que se refiere a SAP EP NW04 de los dos stacks disponibles en el WAS 6.40, solo utiliza el Stack de JAVA, no siendo necesario instalarel stack de ABAP para que puedafuncionar.
En el caso de SAP TREX, no corre sobre el WAS 6.40 y funciona de manera independiente.
Es recomendación de SAP, que en entornos productivos el Portal estecorriendo sobre un WAS 6.40 con solo el Stack de Java

SAP EP NW04 sobre WAS 6.40 Qué Landscape de Sistemas se recomienda? (I)
Al igual que el resto de soluciones SAP, el escenario ideal paraun landscape de sistemas para SAP EP NW04 constaria de 3 entornos diferenciado ( Desarrollo, Calidad y Producción ), aunque en función de la complejidad de los requerimientos, desarrollos a realizar y criticidad del entornose puede obviar el entorno de Calidad.

En base a que el portal pueden confluir distintos tipos de aplicaciones y de sistemas de backend, la plataforma de desarrollo de aplicaciones para el portal ( aparte del Portal de Desarrollo ) puede variar en función de las necesidades del cliente.
En aquellos clientes cuyo volumen de desarrollo en Java sobre elportal o el J2EE sea elevado, se recomienda encarecidamente la implementación del NW Development infraestructure.
Es por ello que pueden surgir diferentes variantes como plataformas de desarrollo de contenido :

Para el diseño de la I.T. para SAP EP NW04 seran necesarios :Tener muy claro todas las maquinas y componentes de software necesarios que son necesarios para hacer correr todas y cada unode los componentes del Portal . ( Pensemos que el portal actuacomo layout ).Estimar la cargabilidad, que no únicamente el Portal acusará sobrelas aplicaciones/sistemas que mediante él serán accesibles por un nuevo público objetivo.Determinar un sizing acurado de cada una de las máquinas queque tomen parte en el portal en base a la cargabilidad esperada.En lo que al Portal se refiere, los componentes a analizar serán :

‘Alta Disponibilidad’ es un requerimiento para maximizar la disponibilidad de un sistema desde el punto de vista de losusuarios que hacen uso de él.
‘Alta Disponibilidad’ comprende mucho más que la definición/implementación de una infraestructura de HW/SW que la soporte :
Reducir tiempos de parada de servicio para la realización de Backups(Online), Updates, Patches, etc.
Implementar escenarios para anticiparse a los posibles impactosde un problema de fuerza mayor siendo crucial para reducir lostiempos de ‘caídas no planificadas’ las cuales pueden ser originadas por fallos en el HW, fallos en las aplicaciones SW, errores en el mantenimiento del sistema, etc…

“Implementing a Multitenant Portal” extends the existing SAP NetWeaver capabilities to support the division of the portal into several logical units – one for each tenant.
A tenant could be a separate internal business unit as well as an external customer of a service provider.
