Historical The French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) signed a MOU for Technical Cooperation on the 11th of febuary 2010 with the Airport Authority of India (AAI).
The 2 axis of cooperation:1.The studies in the management domain of air traffic and the airport operations and2.The training
A Steering Committee is organized every year alternately in France and in India (Patrick GANDIL‐ DGAC and M. SOMANSUNDARAM‐AAI)
Cooperation activities have already been implemented in the framework of this MOU.
Historical: CATC
In the framework of MOU, Frech Civil Aviation deputed an ENAC expertise mission in January 2013 to CATC.

Facts:• Indian Air traffic Management sector is facing a tremendous growth of traffic
• AAI will have to manage a deep organizational and technological change to accommodate the traffic growth
• AAI needs competent and qualified personnel to pilot the change.
The Proposal:
Management training: Setting up a new joined training programm (ENAC/CATC) to train a new generation of AAI managers able to face the coming Indian Air Navigation challenges, while ensuring safe and efficient operations.

• « The Advanced Master » is a post‐graduate degree awarded by the « French High Level Training School Association» (Conférence des Grandes Ecoles).
• Program Accreditation :– ACADEMIC PHASE: around 6 months – INTERNSHIP PHASE: 4 months minimum in a company– MINIMUM LAST: 4 quarters (1 year)– MAXIMUNM LAST : 2 years
ENAC ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
•Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.
•Bachelor's degree (4 years) in the same fields, with 3 years' professional experience.
AAI ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
• Belong to the AAI ATCO or ATSEP Staff
• Have to be selected by AAI Headquarters
PURPOSE:The aim of the ANSPM Advanced Master is to train 50 ATCOs/ATSEPs to become senior managers and helping AAI to accommodate the air traffic growth in the next decades

Implementing the quality control procedures
• A Module Assessment Form will be fulfilled by Students at the end of each module:• Review the effectiveness and value of the week’s instruction• List the positive and negative points.• Valuate facilities, instructors, material, and any additional
activities.• Improve the next sessionThe identity of the student is optional
Attendance Policy
• A attendance Sheet will be sign every day by students. The form will be send to AAI Headquarters
• Examinations are mandatory• For each exam missed, the student will have 0/20• Student with an exemption from the Course Director will be allowed to resit an exam missed.
Attendance Process
Process:• RAO will provide the attendance sheet every morning to the representatives
• Representatives are in charge of the signature attendance
• When filled, ENAC teacher will countersign it

Internship
• Purposes• Internship Search• Acceptance• Mentor• Thesis Report• Oral Defense• Jury Composition
Purposes:
• A transition between academic training and professional experience.
• Implementation of competencies acquired during theoretical part into professional project.
• Students are to propose creative solution towards solving problems.
Internship Search
• Students are allowed to perform their internship within AAI Stations.
• AAI will propose some Internship subjects regarding to its operational and technical issues.
Definition and Acceptance
• The Subject of the Internship has to be in the scope of the Advanced Master.
• The subject processed during the internship has to bring an added value to AAI.
• The subject has to be enough concrete to be processed in 6 months long.
• The subject has to be validated by the Course Director.
Mentor
• Each student has to have a mentor within AAI• He’s responsible to help and monitor the student to accomplish the Internship objectives.
Thesis Report
• Delivered on February, 2016• Students will be responsible for writing the final thesis.
• A culmination and an explanation of all the work performed during the internship.
Thesis Defense• Secondly, student will submit his internship studies to a board of examiners.
• This Oral presentation will last:– 30 minutes presentation of the Thesis in English– 15 minutes: answering jury questions– 15 minutes of deliberation– 5 minutes of debriefing

• Internship Guidance Booklet will be delivered to students on Week 28, 2015.
• Course Director will display a more accurate presentation about Internship.
