Well, hello again.
My family and I are very excited about your visit next year. But, before you come, I want to
introduce you to me and my family.
You know my name is Joel Stance Jr. and we are the Stance family. I am twenty-four years
old and I am a student at the University of Sydney. I study communication because I want to be
a journalist. I am 1.72m tall and thin. I have black, straight hair, and black eyes. I am single, and
I live alone in a very nice apartment near the University. I have one brother and two sisters. My
brother’s name is Paul. He is 36 years old. He is tall and has blonde hair. He is married and has
two children. His children’s names are Robby and Tim. Robby is ten years old. He is a student.
He is blonde and very intelligent. Tim is only six years old. He is also blonde and he is also a
student. They are both in primary school. The woman next to me on the right is Rita, Paul’s wife.
Rita is a fantastic woman. She is a veterinarian. She is blonde and very funny.
Next to Paul, on the right is Louise. Louise is one of my sisters. She is twenty-eight years
old and she is a social worker. She is tall, thin, funny and very pretty. She is single, but she has
a very nice boyfriend. He is not in the photo, though.
My other sister is Sandy. She is 32 years old. She is an architect. She is tall, thin and she
has long, black hair. She is married and has one daughter. Her husband’s name is Bill. Bill is the
man next to Sandy on the right. Bill is very tall and has black hair. He is also very, very funny.
Their daughter’s name is Cindy. Cindy is eleven years old and she is a student. She is blonde
and has beautiful green eyes. She is also very intelligent.
The woman next to Cindy, on the left is my aunt Rose. She is my mother’s sister. She is a
teacher at Sydney University. She teaches science. She is fifty-four years old. She is tall and thin
and she has beautiful, straight, black hair. She is divorced and she does not have children.
Finally, let me introduce you to my parents. My mother’s name is Cecilia. She is a fantastic
woman. She is fifty-seven years old. She is medium-height, thin and has short, blonde hair. My
father’s name is Joel, just like me. He is retired now. He is sixty-three years old. He likes walking
on the beach in the morning. He is tall and has very short blonde and white hair.
Well, this is my family, and we are all very happy about meeting you next year. I can’t wait
to hear from you. Please, send me a photo of your family too.
Write to you soon,
