Use a command to… Tell somebody what to do.

Use the USTED command when you are addressing… ONE person formally.

Use the USTEDES Command when you are addressing … More than ONE person (formally or

informally).

FORMATION

1. ALWAYS start with the “YO” form in the present tense.

Ej: hablar hablo

2. Drop the “O”Ej: habl__

3. Add the “OPPOSITE” vowel ending (HABLE)

1. Ej: hable or hablen

-AR -ER or -IR

“e” or “en”

“a” or “an”

If it is an “Usted” command, the ending is “e” or “a”

If it is an “Ustedes” command, the ending is “en” or “an”
