¿QUE VOY A APRENDER?
Buenos días querido estudiante.
En esta primera guía del primer periodo vamos a conocer como se forman las oraciones comparativas
COMPARATIVE DEGREE.
El grado comparativo denota un grado más alto o bajo de cualidad. Comparamos dos cosas, dos personas, dos
animales, etc.
Los adjetivos y adverbios de una sílaba y pocas de dos sílabas, forman su comparativo agregándoles la terminación
“er” (traduce más)
La palabra than (que) es usado en la segunda parte de la comparación.
Example
young (joven) younger (más joven)
old (viejo) older (más viejo)
He is younger than I. ( él es más joven que yo)

Los adjetivos que terminan en e, solo le agregamos r.
Example
brave (bravo) braver (más bravo )
Los adjetivos que finalizan en y, precedido por una consonante, cambiamos la y por i, y le agregamos “er”.

pretty (bonito) prettier (más bonito)
Ejemplos de adjetivos con una o dos sílabas, escribe en frente el comparativo más y la traducción.

Los adjetivos que tienen tres o más sílabas, forman su comparativo utilizando la palabra more (más) antes del
adjetivo o adverbio.

Intelligent (inteligente) more intelligent (más inteligente)
Peter is more intelligent than Joe.

Diamont - gold (expensive)
