Charlie Styrbjörn submitted two entries to the competition: his “Part Goat” chair and the simply named “Ladder.” Both experiment with traditional forms and techniques to create distinctly contemporary objects. Charlie was named the 2015 IKEA Scholar.

GamFratesi designed the Haiku low sofa for Fredericia. The design duo is increasingly popular among Scandinavian home furnishing manufacturers. The pair were last year’s guests of honour at the Stockholm Fair and award winners at Milan Design Week.
