GIVE THE GIFT OF LIFE!
On Saturday, November 5, we are hosting a blood drive at Chain of Lakes from
9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We encourage everyone aged 17 and above who is eligible
to roll up their sleeves and give the gift of life. Please be sure to have a picture ID
available. This is a great opportunity for us to give back to the community and
help those in need. The Big Red Bus will be parked in
the south parking lot. We hope
everyone will give their support, so
please invite all of your friends and
family to participate. Thank you for
caring for and giving back to your
community!
Titusville Soccer Club’s very own
recreational team, the U8 Fire-
birds, continue to grow as a
team. Jaxon, Sayler, Logan, Lilly,
Malachi, Rachel, Rhett and Madi-
son are full of smiles, speed and a
whole bunch of Awesome! They
have worked very hard this sea-
son and are showing terrific
speed, stamina, hard work during
their practices and games, and a
whole lot of teamwork, too! Keep
it up Firebirds! We are so proud
of you!
Did You Know???
Soccer developed in London’s famed Newgate Prison in the early
1800s. Prisoners who had their hands cut off for crimes of theft came
up with a sport that used only the feet. Creepy!! The game spread
from there and, today, is the most popular game in most of the world.
Titusville’s competitive soccer
team, the U-10 Thunder, takes the
field with heart, teamwork, and
determination every time they
play! Our boys play with aggres-
siveness and perseverance and our
girls keep up with them in every
single way! Thanks to our coaches
for having the patience to teach
and mentor our U-10ers! Here’s to
a great rest of the season!
