INSTALACIÓN DE BATERÍAS1. Quite el tornillo con un desarmador de cruz, levante la tapa e inserte 2 baterías AAA; ponga atención a la polaridad.2. Vuelva a colocar la tapa y asegúrela con el tornillo.

• Nunca mezcle distintos tipos de baterías o baterías usadas con nuevas.

• En caso de que exista un derrame en el líquido de la batería, debe retirar la batería y limpiar el compartimento donde éstas se almacenan antes de colocar la batería nueva.

• Si no va a utilizar su control remoto por un largo tiempo, por favor retire la batería del compartimento.

Puede programar tanto su televisión como su decodifi cador para controlar los dos sin necesidad de utilizar controles diferentes. Programe primero su televisión y después repita el proceso con su decodifi cador. Algunos proveedores de televisión de paga no utilizan decodifi cador, en ese caso sólo tendrá que programarlo con su televisión.

Una vez que ambos estén programados, si quiere utilizar el control para funciones de la televisión deberá presionar el botón de dispositivo “TV” y después el botón de la función que desea realizar. Por ejemplo, si desea subir el volumen de la televisión, presione el botón “TV” y después suba el volumen.

Para usar el control con el decodifi cador, es decir, para controlar la televisión de paga, presione el botón de dispositivo “CBL”.

Existen dos modos de programar el control: manual y automático.

1. Encienda manualmente la televisión o decodifi cador que quiere programar.

2. En la lista anexa, busque el código que corresponde a su televisor o decodifi cador; téngalo listo para ingresarlo.

3. En el control para niños elija el botón del dispositivo que desea controlar: TV para controlar la televisión o CBL para controlar televisión de paga (sistema satelital -Sky o Dish- o cable).

4. Presione el botón de encendido y el botón de silencio al mismo tiempo por 3 segundos, hasta que el LED se encienda.

5. Ingrese el código de 4 dígitos correspondiente a su equipo. (En caso de que el código sea erróneo, el LED parpadeará 3 veces y saldrá del modo programación, entonces deberá repetir los pasos a partir del 2).6. Presione el botón de silencio para completar la programación. El LED se apagará indicando que ha terminado la programación. Recuerde dirigir el control hacia el dispositivo que desea programar.7. Pruebe el control; si no funciona y su marca de televisor tiene más opciones de códigos, intente con uno diferente. Repita los pasos 2 a 6. 8. Escriba y guarde el código para futuras referencias.

- Si no introduce un código en 30 segundos, el LED se apagará y el control saldrá del modo de programación.- El botón silencio funciona también para introducir el número 0.

4. Presione el botón de encendido apuntando al equipo que desea programar, el LED comenzará a parpadear indicando que está en modo de búsqueda de código.

5. Cuando encuentre el código, la televisión o decodifi cador se apagará, entonces deberá presionar el botón de silencio para confi rmar y concluir la programación.

- Para agilizar la búsqueda, puede presionar el botón de encendido hasta que el equipo que desea programar se apague, mientras el control se encuentra en modo de búsqueda de código, es decir, después del paso 4, cuando el LED está parpadeando. - En caso de que el control encuentre el código, se apague el equipo y usted no concluya la bús-queda presionando el botón de silencio oportunamente, repita los pasos 1 a 4 y presione “CH-” mientras el LED parpadea. Esto le dará la oportunidad de regresar al código y evitar que la bús-queda se repita, el equipo que desea programar se apagará y deberá presionar el botón de silencio oportunamente.

Para saber cuál es el código actual:

1. Presione el botón de encendido y el botón con el número 1 al mismo tiempo, manténgalos presionados hasta que el LED comience a parpadear; el número de veces que el LED parpadee será el primer dígito del código. Por ejemplo, si el LED parpadea dos veces, entonces el primer dígito del código será 2.

2. Presione el botón de encendido y el botón con el número 2 al mismo tiempo, manténgalos presionados hasta que el LED comience a parpadear; el número de veces que parpadee el LED será el segundo dígito. Por ejemplo, si el LED parpadea dos veces de nuevo, entonces el segundo dígito del código será 2.

3. Presione el botón de encendido y el botón con el número 3 al mismo tiempo, manténgalos presionados hasta que el LED comience a parpadear; el número de veces que parpadee el LED será el tercer dígito. Por ejemplo, si el LED parpadea nueve veces, entonces el tercer dígito del código será 9.

4. Presione el botón de encendido y el botón con el número 4 al mismo tiempo, manténgalos presionados hasta que el LED comience a parpadear; el número de veces que parpadee el LED será el cuarto dígito. Por ejemplo, si el LED parpadea cinco veces, entonces el cuarto dígito del código será 5; así, nuestro código de ejemplo es 2295.

- Si el LED no parpadea signifi ca que el dígito es 0.

Programación de canales favoritos1. Elija el botón del dispositivo que desea controlar en el control para niños: TV o CBL.2. Presione el botón que desea programar (del 1 al 9) durante 5 segundos hasta que el LED parpadee dos veces y después se quede encendido, entonces deje de presionarlo.3. Introduzca el canal que desea programar.El control de manera predeterminada guarda los canales en 4 dígitos, por lo que deberá agregar ceros al fi nal del canal si éste no es de 4 dígitos. Por ejemplo, si el canal que desea guardar es el 455, deberá guardarlo como 4550, es decir, agregando un cero al fi nal.4. Después de introducir el número del canal, presione el botón del dispositivo que eligió (TV o CBL) para confi rmar y concluir la programación.5. Repita estos pasos para programar otros canales en los demás botones.

- El botón de silencio funciona como 0.

Si desea programar el canal 318 de cable en el botón 4:

- Presione el botón CBL.

- Presione el botón 4 durante 5 segundos, el LED parpadeará 2 veces y después se mantendrá encendido, entonces deje de presionarlo.

- Presione el botón con el número 3, seguido del botón con el número 1 y después el botón con el número 8, recuerde agregar un 0 al fi nal para completar los 4 dígitos. El LED parpadeará cada que introduzca un número.

- Presione el botón CBL para confi rmar y concluir la programación.

Eliminar un canal favorito

1. Elija el botón del dispositivo que desea controlar en el control para niños: TV o CBL.

2. Presione el botón del que desea eliminar el canal favorito por 5 segundos, el LED parpadeará 2 veces y después se encenderá, entonces deje de presionarlo.

3. Presione nuevamente el botón del dispositivo (TV o CBL) que eligió en el paso 1. El LED parpadeará dos veces lentamente, indicando que el canal se ha eliminado.

Bloqueo de programaciónPara evitar que los niños cambien la confi guración del control accidentalmente, puede bloquear el control con los siguientes pasos:

Para desbloquear el control repita estos mismos pasos. El LED parpadeará dos veces y después se apagará indicando que el control se ha desbloqueado.

1. Presione el botón de encendido y el de silencio al mismo tiempo por 3 segundos hasta que el LED se encienda.

2. Introduzca el código de bloqueo 9995, el LED se apagará indicando que el control se ha bloqueado correctamente. TV CBL0

Bloqueo de volumen

1. Presione el botón de encendido y el de silencio al mismo tiempo por 3 segundos hasta que el LED se encienda.

2. Introduzca el código 9991, el LED se encenderá.

3. Presione “+” para bloquear el volumen y el botón de silencio, el LED parpadeará dos veces y después se apagará indicando que se ha bloqueado correctamente el volumen.

4. Para desbloquear el volumen, repita los mismos pasos pero esta vez presione “-” después de introducir el código 9991.

Puede bloquear el volumen y el botón de silencio siguiendo estos pasos:

Bloqueo de botón CH

1. Presione el botón de encendido y el de silencio al mismo tiempo por 3 segundos hasta que el LED se encienda.

2. Introduzca el código 9992, el LED se encenderá.

3. Presione el botón “ ” para bloquear el cambio de canal, el LED parpadeará dos veces y luego se apagará indicando que se ha bloqueado correctamente.

4. Para desbloquear el botón de cambio de canal, repita los mismos pasos pero esta vez presione “ ” (que en realidad es un triángulo hacia abajo) después de introducir el código 9992.

Puede bloquear los botones para cambiar el canal, de modo que sólo se puedan utilizar los canales programados como favoritos (1 a 9). Para bloquear los botones “CH” siga estos pasos:

Apagado maestro

1. Presione el botón “CBL”.

2. Presione el botón de encendido/apagado y el de silencio al mismo tiempo por 3 segundos, hasta que el LED se encienda.

3. Ingrese el código 9993; el LED parpadeará 2 veces indicando que se ha activado correctamente la función de Apagado maestro.

Esta función sirve para apagar tanto la TV como el decodifi cador de la televisión de paga al mismo tiempo. Cuando esta función no está activada, para apagar la TV debe presionar el botón “TV” y después el botón de encendido/apagado. Para apagar el decodifi cador debe presionar el botón “CBL” y después el botón de encendido/apagado.Para evitar esto y apagar ambos equipos al mismo tiempo sólo con presionar el botón de encendido/apagado, active el apagado maestro siguiendo estos pasos:

Cuando restaura a confi guración de fábrica, toda la programación se borrará.

Restablecer confi guración de fábrica

1. Presione el botón de encendido y el de silencio al mismo tiempo por 3 segundos hasta que el LED se encienda.

2. Introduzca el código 9996; el LED parpadeará dos veces para indicar que se ha restaurado la confi guración de fábrica.

Para restaurar el control a la confi guración de fábrica, haga lo siguiente:

BATTERIES INSTALLATION1. Remove the screw, lift the cover and insert 2 AAA batteries; pay attention to the polarity.2. Replace the cover and secure it with the screw.

• Do not use old and new battery or battery of different models at the same time.

• In the event of battery leakage, take out the battery, wipe the battery compartment clean, and exchange new battery.

• If this remote control is intended to be not in use for a long time, please remove the battery.

You can program both your TV and your decoder to control the two without using different controls. Program your TV fi rst and then repeat the process with your decoder. Some providers do not use decoder, then you will only need to program it with your television.

Once both are programmed, if you want to use the control functions of television you must press the “TV” device button and then the button for the function you want to perform. For example, if you want to raise the volume on the TV, press the “TV” button and then turn up the volume.

To use the control with the decoder press the “CBL” button.

There are two ways to program the control: manual and automatic.

1. Manually turn on the TV or decoder to be programmed.

2. In the attached list, fi nd the code that corresponds to your TV or decoder; have it ready to submit.

3. Press the device button you need to program: “TV” for controlling the television or “CBL” to control pay TV (satellite system or cable).

4. Press the on/off button and the mute button at the same time for 3 seconds, until the LED lights turn on.

5. Enter the four digit code you choose from the list. (If the code is wrong, the LED will fl ash 3 times and the control will exit the setting mode; you will have to repeat steps from 2).

6. Press the mute button to save and complete programming. The LED will turn off indicating that the programming is fi nished.

Remember you must direct the control towards the device you want to program.

7. Test the remote; if it does not works and there are more code options for your TV brand in the list try with a different one. Repeat steps 2-6.

8. Write down the 4 digit code for future reference.

- If you do not enter a code in 30 seconds, the LED will light off and the control will exit the setting mode.- The mute button works to enter the number 0.

4. Press the on/off button pointing towards the device to be programmed, the LED will fl ash indicating it’s in search mode.

5. When the code is found, the TV or decoder turns off, press mute to confi rm and fi nish programming

- For faster searching, you can press the on/off button until the device to be programmed turns off, while the control is in search mode code, i.e., after step 4, when the LED is blinking.- In case you don’t press “Mute” in time, repeat steps 1-4 and press “CH-” while the LED fl ashes. This will give you the opportunity to return to the code and prevent a repeating the search, the devi-ce you want to program will shut down and then you may press the mute button promptly.

Inquiring the current code:

1. Press on/off button and the button with the number 1 at the same time, hold them until the LED begins to fl ash, the number of times the LED fl ashes indicates the fi rst digit of the code. For example, if the LED blinks twice, then the fi rst digit is 2.

2. Press on/off button and the button with the number 2 at the same time, hold them until the LED begins to fl ash, the number of times the LED fl ashes indicates the second digit of the code. For example, if the LED blinks twice again, then the second digit is 2.

3. Press on/off button and the button with the number 3 at the same time, hold them until the LED begins to fl ash, the number of times the LED fl ashes indicates the third digit of the code. For example, if the LED blinks nine times, then the third digit is 9.

4. Press on/off button and the button with the number 4 at the same time, hold them until the LED begins to fl ash, the number of times the LED fl ashes indicates the fourth digit of the code. For example, if the LED blinks fi ve times, then the fourth digit is 5; thus, our sample code is 2295.

- If the LED does not fl ashes it means the digit is 0.

Programming favorite channel1. Press the device button you want to program: “TV” or “CBL”.

2. Press the button to be programmed (1 to 9) for 5 seconds until the LED fl ashes twice and then remains steady.

3. Enter the channel you want to program. By default, the remote saves the channels in 4 digits, so you must add zeros at the end of the channel if it is not 4 digits. For example, if you want to program the channel 455, you must enter it as 4550, adding a zero at the end.

4. After entering the channel number, press the device button you chose (TV or CBL) to confi rm and fi nish programming.

5. Repeat these steps to program other channels in the other buttons.

- The mute button works to enter the number 0.

If you want to set CBL 318 channel in button 4:

- Press the CBL button.

- Press “4” button for 5 seconds, the LED will fl ash 2 times and then remain lit.

- Press the number 3, followed by the number 1 button and then the button with the number 8, remember you must add a 0 at the end to complete the 4 digits. The LED fl ashes each time you enter a number.

- Press the CBL button to confi rm and fi nish programming.

Deleting a favorite channel

1. Press the Device button you need to program: TV or CBL.

2. Press the button you wish to clear for 5 seconds, the LED will fl ash 2 times and light up, release the button.

3. Press the Device button you chose again (TV or CBL), the LED will fl ash slowly 2 times to clear the setting indicating that the channel has been removed.

Lock codeTo prevent children from accidently changing the control settings, you can lock the control with the following steps:

To unlock the control repeat these same steps. The LED will blink twice and then turn off indicating that the control is unlocked.

1. Press the power button and mute at the same time for 3 seconds until the LED lights.

2. Enter the lock 9995 code, the LED will turn off indicating that the control is locked properly.

Volume lock

1. Press the power button and mute at the same time for 3 seconds until the LED lights.

2. Enter 9991 code, the LED will light.

3. Press “V +” to lock the volume and mute buttons, the LED fl ashes twice and then go off indicating that it has successfully blocked the volume.

4. To unlock the volume, repeat the same steps but this time press “V-” after entering the 9991 code.

You can lock the volume and mute buttons by following these steps:

Channel lock

1. Press the power button and mute at the same time for 3 seconds until the LED lights.

2. Enter 9992 code, the LED will light.

3. Press the “ ” to lock the channel button, the LED will blink twice and then turn off, indicating that it has successfully locked.

4. To unlock the channel button, repeat these steps but this time press “ ” after entering the 9992 code.

You can lock the channel buttons, so you can only use channels programmed as favorites (1-9). To block the “CH” button follow these steps:

Master power off

1. Press the “CBL” button.

2. Press the on/off button and “Mute” at the same time for 3 seconds, until the LED lights on.

3. Enter the 9993code; the LED will blink twice indicating you have successfully activated the Master power off.

This function is used to turn off both TV and the decoder at the same time. When this feature is not enabled, in order to turn off the TV you must press the “TV” button and then the on/off button. To turn the decoder you must press the “CBL” button and then the on/off button.To avoid this and turn off both devices at the same time just by pressing the on/off button, enable the master power off by following these steps:

When you restore to factory settings, all programming is erased.

Restore factory default

1. Press the power button and “Mute” at the same time for 3 seconds until the LED lights.

2. Enter 9996 code, the LED will fl ash 2 times to indicate it has been restored to factory settings.

To restore the control to the factory settings, do the following:

WARRANTY

This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in workmanship and materials to the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase.

CONDITIONS

1. This warranty card with all the required information, invoice, product box or package, and product, must be presented when warranty service is required.2.
