Q: if this was from a TS, why was air on ground so low?A: I do not have a clear answer, but air on the ground experienced quick blast of hot air. Air may not have been able to adjust and take up more moisture fast enough to raise relative humidity. The consequence then is that rain may fall in the upper atmosphere but never reaches the ground (virga).
